Who do we provide ceremony services to?

Ceremonies are available to all couples, heterosexual and same sex.

What can be included in the ceremony?

There are lots of options so we will discuss ideas as part of the preparation so the content is perfect for you. Some ideas of what could be included in a Fully Personalised ceremony are; introduction of parents and wedding party, honour deceased/non-attending loved ones, your love story, the things you love about each other, readings/poems, symbolic act (sand ceremony, water ceremony, wine ceremony, wine box letters ceremony, hand fasting, balloon release, memory box, propose a toast, send-off bridge), vows, exchange of rings, declaration of marriage and signing of the wedding certificate. If you have any special requirements or ideas these too can be incorporated.

We would like to include children and/or family members in the ceremony, is this possible?

There are various ways you can include children and/or family members in your ceremony. We will discuss the options and work out the perfect way to do this for you all.

Would the ceremony be legal?

The ceremonies we officiate are not legal. You will usually have to complete the legal part of the marriage in your home country due to the complications and expense associated with the Spanish legal system, unless you are a Spanish resident.

Would my guests know the ceremony is not legal if we don’t tell them?

There is no need to tell your guests the ceremony is not legal if you don’t want to. Ceremonies typically include the key parts of a legal ceremony, for example exchanging vows and rings, declaration of marriage and signing the wedding certificate, so your guests wouldn’t know.

How do you ensure things go smoothly on the day?

We will have a walk through of the ceremony about 2 weeks beforehand to ensure everything has been thought about and planned, including the ‘choreography’. On the day itself, we will arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure everything is set up as we discussed. We will talk to anyone who has a role in the ceremony to check they know what they are doing and when, we will lead the ceremony to ensure everyone is in the right places and we will prompt you throughout to ensure you feel as relaxed as you can be and enjoy it.

Are you able to recommend other suppliers for my wedding?

We have worked with many other suppliers at the ceremonies we have performed and have a list of only those we thought were very good so if you need any recommendations we can pass them on.

Do you have a PA system for the ceremony?

Sometimes ceremony locations do not have a PA system to use during the ceremony or you may be having your ceremony at a private villa or other location. We use a microphone at most ceremonies to ensure all of your guests can hear everything so if a PA system is required, we will bring one along.

Will we sign a wedding certificate?

We produce a beautiful commemorative wedding certificate that we will all sign during the ceremony.
