Hola and welcome to my very first blog. I have been meaning to write a blog for a little while and finally here it is!
I thought I would start by writing about a recent wedding in the Costa Blanca North, near Javea. It was the first time I had been to the Vall de Cavall in Gata de Gorgos, although I had heard lots about it. I was not disappointed. Such a stunning location, fantastic views and perfect venue for a wedding.
I had spent some time speaking to the couple by video call prior to their wedding day, preparing for their ceremony. They chose my beautiful but standard ceremony as they were having a simple wedding and didn't want anything elaborate. So I finally got to meet them at the venue prior the ceremony, along with their two very young children and their friends and family. What lovely people and so laid back.
When I arrived, everything was ready and a few people were gathering. I was immediately blown away by the sight of the gorgeous terrace all set up for the wedding meal and the ceremony setting on the large lawn around the swimming pool, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. And it wasn't just the sights that were fantastic, there was a guitarist playing in the background. I knew this was going to be a wedding ceremony I would always remember.
The ceremony eventually got underway and right from the start the couple's youngest Daughter just wanted to be picked up by Mummy or Daddy so we continued with babe in arms and for the rest of the ceremony we didn't hear another peep. The ring exchange was the most difficult part of the ceremony for the couple, it's not easy while holding a little one. But they coped very well and their Daughter features in all of their ceremony photos so even though she won't remember when she is older, there is a permanent reminder of her contribution! The ceremony was truly amazing, there were smiles, laughter and tears and I'm not talking about the children!
After the ceremony I briefly spoke to the couple. They said such lovely things about the ceremony, it's words like this that makes my job so perfect. I left them to enjoy the rest of their big day but I will never forget the contribution I made to making it so very special for them.
A few days later the couple sent me a message to thank me again, saying how beautiful and perfect the ceremony was. They also raved about the venue, the food, the photographs and the day as a whole. I certainly have no reservations in recommending this stunning venue, take a look for yourself at some of the photos, plus there is a short video of the venue prior to the ceremony.
Well that's my first blog complete so I will sign off for now.
Thanks for reading.
